Rosolios are an age-old monastic tradition. They were made from fruit that would otherwise
have gone to waste in order to offer tired and down-hearted guests a cordial that could help
them feel at peace with themselves and with life in general. They can be drunk straight, with or
without ice, and have a pleasant and delicate, full-bodied and aromatic taste. They are also
excellent added to desserts, ice cream and fruit cocktails.
